We know you’ll learn a lot by attending this popular online conference about communication difficulties and disruptive behaviors. But why take our word for it? Here’s what one of our recent conference attendees had to say…

“I have gained valuable insights on enhancing the quality of life for individuals with dementia through this conference. I am currently implementing these newfound strategies in my workplace, and I’ve already noticed improvements in my interactions with the residents. I sincerely hope that you will continue organizing similar conferences in the future. Keep up the excellent work!”

This 3 hour online conference is intended for those who work with the cognitively impaired and are interested in understanding how the effective strategies and practical solutions provided by the Montessori method adapted for the cognitively impaired can help the parties overcome communication difficulties and responsive behaviors.

Register and learn:

  • To recognize communication barriers and to communicate more effectively based on the progression of the disease
  • Proven strategies & techniques to allow greater positive communication
  • To recognize and decipher problematic behaviors and better respond to responsive behaviors such as aggression and agitation
  • Encourage use of existing abilities to help slow down loss of autonomy and help the person regain some independence
  • Reduce your own level of anxiety; remain calm and enjoy more harmonious relationships
  • New ways to better sense and feel what the afflicted person is trying to express, be it verbally or non-verbally

During this conference, there will be a strong emphasis on the ‘how-to’ when it comes to communicating effectively and identifying responsive behaviors.

We answer those important questions:

  • What do the responsive behaviors mean?
  • How should I respond?
  • What can I do differently to improve the lives of all concerned?

When you use the Montessori method adapted for the cognitively impaired, the afflicted person’s self-esteem increases, and their level of autonomy and independence improves.

After the conference you will:

  • Communicate more effectively based on the progression of the disease
  • Better respond to responsive behaviors such as aggression and agitation
  • Encourage use of existing abilities to help slow down loss of autonomy
  • Reduce your own level of anxiety; remain calm
  • Put yourself in the afflicted person’s shoes and maintain a more positive relationship

An impressive list, to be sure. Make sure you reserve your spot(s) to attend this conference. Take advantage of the group rate by registering 3 or more people.
